The top picture shows a garage door on Bullseye Lake Rd the man is in his 80's and had on his garage door God Bless America and Support Our Troops. I stopped and talked to him. He has four active duty military grandsons and has made his own McCain for President sign. He loves our country and our troops. I guess someone didn't appreciate his right to freedom of speech so they decided to paint through the Support our troops and the God Bless America then decided that he should add Obama 2008. By the way 8 different people called the two local newspapers to try to get someone out there to do a story on this man and neither one would.
The next picture is a sign on sturdy road that a lady brought in because she was upset that someone defaced her sign. She went over to the Obama camp and showed this and one of the ladies there actually had the nerve to say well Republicans do the same thing. The lady left disgusted and we replaced the sign with a new one.
To top off all of that this week I picked up 28 signs from the Valpo PD that had been stolen from yards and dumped into someone elses yard. Thankfully the person that got them dumped in their yard called the PD to pick them up.
EVERYONE has the right to support whom they choose it is sickening to think that whom ever is doing this thinks that this ok to do.

The Obama thugs are out in full force, I had 8 of my signs stolen last weekend. They don't appear to want free speech, or rights to debate ... they want their leader and that's all that matters to them. Too bad they missed the first 250 years of our little experiment with democracy.
During the 2004 election, the John Kerry sticker I had on my car was smeared with what I can only assume was chewed tobacco. This happened the same night my tire was punctured. I then had yard signs stolen from my lawn on two different occasions.
This is what happens when people stop being civil to each other and start demonizing people with different political views. When people start questioning the patriotism of those who disagree with them and start using names like "morons" and "thugs" to describe those who disagree.
Let's hope your call to civility is heard by the people on both sides of the presidential race who need to hear it.

George, not true. I've seen the guys garage that was painted. I've also seen stop signs at the high school painted with this new obama face.
